Suzuki confirma intenção de lançar o Swift Sport em 2012

Hatchback deve ser apresentado no Salão de Tóquio!

A Suzuki confirmou que tem planos de lançar o Swift Sport no início de 2012. O modelo, que deve ser apresentado no Salão de Tóquio, em dezembro, será um hatchback de três portas inspirado no Conceito S.

De acordo com uma subsidiária russa da marca, o Swift Sport terá motorização de 1.6 litros, quatro cilindros, a gasolina, que desenvolveria 134 cavalos de potência. A versão de entrada teria transmissão seis marchas, manual, mas uma opção por câmbio automático também estará disponível.
Apresentado no salão de Genebra, o conceito introduziu vários acessórios, incluindo kit aerodinâmico composto por novos para-choques, suspensão rebaixada, saias laterais e aerofólio traseiro. Além disso, a carroceria é 60 milímetros mais larga e 30 milímetros mais baixa que a versão convencional.
